BILOXI, MS. May 2006 - AGJ Systems & Networks Inc., Mississippi’s Commercial Small Business of the Year and a veteran-owned local provider of web and network solutions, today announced the hiring of three new employees.
Mr. Rick Abruzzese is assigned to AGJ’s burgeoning Medical Division as a Network Engineer. Mr. Abruzzese is a 1981 graduate of Mississippi State University and holds a Master of Science in Forest Economics and a minor in Statistics. Mr. Abruzzese has worked on the Mississippi Coast in Computers and Networking since 1986. His most recent responsibilities were in large healthcare network environments and prior efforts include work as a network engineer within a large casino with properties nation wide. He will team with AGJ staff to support their expanding customer base.
Mr. Kyle Boring has joined AGJ’s award winning Web Development Team. Mr. Boring is a 2004 graduate of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and holds an Associate’s Degree in Web Development Technology. Mr. Boring is a Certified Internet Webmaster and holds additional certifications in Web Foundations and E-Commerce. Mr. Boring will work to create and maintain sites using various web tools and languages. His prior experience includes work as a senior technician for Dell.
Mr. Robert Lackland is a 2004 graduate of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and holds an Associates Degree in Website Development. Mr. Lackland is a Certified Internet Webmaster and has previously worked as a consultant for website applications and development.
April 25, 2006, AGJ Systems & Networks Inc. has been awarded the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber’s Tapestry Technology Award for 2006. This is the second time AGJ has been awarded this prestigious honor. This award recognizes outstanding achievements by small businesses in the field of technology. The award was co-sponsored by Bell South and presented by Rick Stewart.
Bud Jones, AGJ Systems and Networks Inc., Chief Executive Officer has been named to the Sun Herald’s Top 10 Business Leaders Under 40. This award recognizes individuals throughout South Mississippi for their outstanding contributions and excellence within the business community. In just three years AGJ has been recognized with numerous state and national awards including the Coast Chamber's "Tapestry" Award and the Mississippi Small Business of the Year. Mr. Jones serves on the board of directors for the South Mississippi Contract Procurement Center and the Renaissance Biloxi Small Business Advisory Council. AGJ has donated development services to many local charitable, business and economic development organizations. Mr. Jones is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, a Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet, Citrix Certified Administrator, Certified Document Imaging Architech, and an A+ certified engineer.
AGJ Systems & Networks Inc. has been awarded a desktop support contract by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). AGJ is Mississippi’s Small Business of the Year for 2005 and holds a General Service Administration Contract for providing Information Technology Support. AGJ will provide the onsite support at the FEMA District Distribution Center located in Purvis MS. Currently AGJ supports over 400 business and government customers in Mississippi and throughout the United States. The Mississippi Coast Chamber honored 38 small businesses at the Grand Casino Biloxi Theater on April 28, 2005. AGJ Systems & Networks was awarded the Tapestry’s first ever Technology Award for its leadership in the field of Information Technology. The awards were in given in conjunction with and as part of National Small Business Week. The Tapestry Award is designed to honor the contributions of small business that are leaders in the community and local economy.
Natascha Foret of AGJ Systems & Networks Web Studios has achieved the designation of Master CIW Designer. The Master CIW Designer certification requires the candidates to pass three exams including site designing, e-commerce design, and advanced web programming languages. She is a graduate of Tulane University College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Website Development and a minor in Media Arts. She is also a graduate of Hancock High School.

September 28, 2003 - BILOXI, Miss. – Mississippi Sea Wolves Professional Hockey announced on Monday that the team has launched its new web site design at www.msseawolves.com and unveiled its new slogan, Party with the Pack!
The Sea Wolves partnered with AGJ Systems & Networks, Inc., a Biloxi-based company, for the design and hosting of the new site, which also features a flash introduction.
“The staff at AGJ Systems & Networks Inc. did a tremendous job building our site and they are great to work with too,” said Bo McMurphy, President of the Sea Wolves. “Our new slogan, Party with the Pack, sets the tone for the season. We’re going to have a lot of fun at our hockey games, and we’re inviting everyone to party with us!”
